CSL STOCK BEAM is a stock 24F-V4 Douglas-fir beam that is the most widely used and commonly available glulam. It is graded Architectural appearance and is sanded on the sides and bottom with beveled corners on the bottom. Any slight manufacturing imperfections are hand filled and sanded smooth for a premium appearance beam. Due to sanding and finishing, the finish widths of these glulams are 3 1/8", 5 1/8", 6 3/4" and 8 3/4". They are typically produced in 1 1/2" depth increments starting with 7 1/2" and going up to 25 1/2". CSL STOCK BEAMs use optimized lay-ups, so they are marked with a"TOP" stamp and must be installed in that orientation to achieve designated load capacities.
