CSL 1.8E IJC is a stock 24F-V8 Douglas-fir beam that is designed and engineered to match typical I-joist floor system depths. CSL 1.8E IJC is cost effective in other applications as well, such as headers. Manufactured as a balanced lay-up, CSL 1.8E IJC has no“top” or “bottom,” making it easy to install. CSL 1.8E IJC is easy to handle, dimensionally stable, and resists surface checking.

CSL 1.8E IJC is manufactured to the APA EWS Framing Appearance Standard. The beam is finished with a “hit and miss” sanding, or planed to attain proper width tolerances after coming from the press. Cascade maintains a stock inventory of CSL 1.8E IJC beams in Chehalis, Washington for immediate shipment to major markets from coast to coast.
